Every way to help Amor, in one place
No money changes hands on this website. Donations always go through the family's official campaign page, so that every shekel arrives directly and transparently. The page is in Hebrew, which is why this walkthrough exists.
Donate on the campaign page (Gius MeHalev)
This is the main route. A secure page on Gius MeHalev, an Israeli crowdfunding platform, with one-time payment by credit card or PayPal (Bit is for Israeli accounts only). You can pick one of the suggested amounts or type your own. Amounts are in Israeli shekels (NIS); your card or PayPal converts at its own rate.
The page is in Hebrew. Here is how to get through it.
- Open the page and look for the amount buttons (350, 550, 850, 1,100, 1,900) or the box where you type your own amount in NIS.
- Fill in your name and email. The platform emails the confirmation to that address.
- Choose PayPal or credit card. Most browsers offer to translate the page; Chrome's translate button in the address bar works well here.
- Confirm. You will see a thank-you page and get an email.
Stuck? Message the campaign on TikTok or Facebook and a volunteer will help in English.
Start your own fundraiser page
On the campaign page you can open a personal fundraiser, share it with friends and family, and watch what you raised together. That is how Shahaf, the neighbor from the kibbutz, brought in a large share of the donations.
A donation that costs nothing: send Amor's story to one group chat, one post, one person who has not heard. If you are part of a Duchenne community, a synagogue, a school or a sports club abroad, this English page was written for you to pass along.
Israeli businesses
Israeli companies that need a receipt have a separate route through the Nedarim Plus system, linked from the campaign page. This applies to Israeli entities only; please check the details with your accountant.
Why you can trust this campaign
The campaign runs on an established Israeli platform, with the family's name and story in the open, and with verifiable coverage on mako, Sport1, 103FM and Shavvim. The amount raised is shown on the campaign page in real time, and that number is always the binding one. On this site we update the figures by hand, so we print a date next to every number.
What does not exist
The family has not published a bank account number or a phone number for donations. If someone contacts you in Amor's name asking for a wire transfer or for card details in a message, it is not from the campaign. Donations happen only through the links on this page.
Questions about donating
Which payment methods work from abroad?
PayPal and international credit cards (Visa, Mastercard and others accepted by the platform). Bit is an Israeli app and only works with an Israeli bank account.
Is there a minimum amount?
No. The page suggests 350, 550, 850, 1,100 and 1,900 NIS, but you can type any amount.
Will I get a receipt?
The platform emails a confirmation after every donation. Questions about a charge or a confirmation go to Gius MeHalev's customer service.
Is my donation tax-deductible in the US or elsewhere?
We cannot tell you that. This is a crowdfunding campaign for one family, not a registered charity in your country, and we do not want to make a claim we cannot back. Please check with your own tax advisor.
Is there a bank account or a phone number for donations?
No. The family has not published a bank account or a phone number. If someone contacts you in Amor's name asking for a wire transfer or card details in a message, it is not from the campaign. Donations happen only through the links on this page.
